Since 1915, AEA has been a welcoming home for Alpha Chi Omega women in the Washington, D.C. area. Our chapter has a rich history of friendship, service, leadership, and lifelong connection.

Our Story Begins
AEA begins as a chartered alumnae club in Washington, D.C.
Tradition of Service
During the World War I era, AEA serves the Washington community through housing assistance, orphanage support, and philanthropic work.
Chapter Established & Golden Jubilee
AEA becomes an alumnae chapter and welcomes Alpha Chi Omega sisters to Washington for the 1935 Golden Jubilee.
Sisterhood Continues
More than a century later, AEA continues to bring Alpha Chi Omega women together across generations throughout the Washington, D.C. area.
