Service & Philanthropy
Supporting Collegiate Sisters
AEA is proud to support the collegiate experience and help strengthen the lifelong connection between Alpha Chi Omega’s collegiate and alumnae members.
Together with our neighboring alumnae chapters, Epsilon Eta Epsilon (Northern Virginia) and Epsilon Xi Epsilon, AEA helps support Beta Rho at American University and Gamma Theta at the University of Maryland. Through these relationships, our alumnae have opportunities to encourage collegiate sisters, celebrate Alpha Chi traditions together, and help women see that Alpha Chi Omega truly is a lifelong sisterhood.
Learning & Growth
Alpha Chi Omega encourages women to continue learning, growing and supporting one another throughout every stage of life. AEA creates opportunities for sisters to share their knowledge, explore new interests, and learn from the experiences and expertise of other women.
From educational and professional development opportunities to Alpha Chi Omega’s Women & Wisdom programming and informal opportunities to learn from one another, AEA celebrates the talents, experiences and lifelong growth of our sisters.
Alpha Chi Traditions
The traditions of Alpha Chi Omega connect generations of sisters and remind us of the values and experiences we share. AEA provides opportunities for alumnae to celebrate the ceremonies, milestones and traditions that have been meaningful to Alpha Chi women for more than a century.
From Founders’ Day and Hera Day to Hall of Commitment and other special Alpha Chi moments, these traditions give us opportunities to honor our shared history, celebrate our sisterhood and strengthen our lifelong connection to Alpha Chi Omega.
Leadership & Volunteering
AEA is powered by sisters who share their time, talents and ideas to help our chapter thrive. There are many ways to contribute, whether you’re interested in serving in a leadership role, helping with a specific project or event, joining a committee, or lending a hand when your schedule allows.
Getting involved is also a great way to build deeper connections with other sisters while using your own strengths to help shape the future of AEA. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your contribution can make a difference.
